Located on Treaty 4, traditional territory of the Cree, Saulteaux, Nakota, Lakota and Dakota peoples, and the homeland of the Métis people, the Art Gallery of Regina is a dynamic cultural hub, promoting the development and appreciation of contemporary art, with an emphasis on Saskatchewan artists. AGR programming includes a diverse range of exhibitions, educational programing, publishing, workshops and artists talks.

The Curator of Exhibitions and Programming is responsible for exhibitions as well as educational and community programming, and reports to the Director of the Art Gallery of Regina. They work together in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. 

The position requires leadership and creative vision as well as a broad range of skills in contemporary arts management, including knowledge of curation, contemporary art, arts-based public education and programming, administration and fundraising. Critical art writing is essential.

The Curator is responsible for effectively administering all aspects of the gallery's curatorial and educational programming in accordance with the organization’s mandate, written policies and executive limitations.​

Qualifications:

MFA Degree in Fine Arts, MA in Curation, or equivalent education and experience

Three years of previous art gallery experience including programming and curation​
