Call for Papers: Art as an Agent for Change: How do Art, Museum, and Education Practices Inspire Act

The UQAM Research Chair for the Development of Innovative Practices in Art, Culture, and Well-being, the research group ArtEspaceSocial, and the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts invite you to the international conference Art as an Agent for Change: How do Art, Museum, and Education Practices Inspire Action?, to be held at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts and the Université du Québec à Montréal from June 15 to 17, 2020. This conference will provide an opportunity to discuss research projects, art practices, and participatory experiences in the arts, museum education and art education. Presenters will be asked to explore the conference theme by considering the following question: How and under what conditions do art, education, and museum practices inspire individual and collective action?

Conference presentation proposals must be submitted in English or French with this application form to semobiliserparlart@gmail.com by September 13, 2019. A confirmation will be sent upon receipt of your proposal. Each presentation will be twenty minutes in length.
