Police Museums Conference - June 25 - 27th, Calgary

Calgary’s police museum is hosting this year’s International Police Museums Conference on June 25-27th in Calgary, Alberta.
Not just for police museum workers, this conference includes a range of interesting and informative sessions on a wide variety of museum topics including: Virtual Reality, Social Media basics, Making Mounts to display textiles, Innovative Museum Design Trends, Translating true crime into public programs, Endangered Museums, Paper conservation techniques, life lessons from a Homicide Detective, and much more! Registration includes a trip to historic Fort Calgary, a tour of the Military Museums, breakfast at the zoo with pandas, daily lunches, and an evening dinner at the Fort Calgary officer’s mess.
For an additional cost, we are offering tours of the Badlands and the Royal Tyrell Museum as well as a visit to beautiful Banff in the heart of the Rocky mountains.
