In this course, you will learn about the roles and responsibilities of a non-profit board, public trust, board decision-making, policy development, financial and human resource management, and community relations. After completion, students will have a knowledge of the operational and management aspects of a museum/gallery environment, and will be able to effectively operate and contribute to the administration of a cultural organization. This course is one of the ten required classes needed for the completion of the Museums Association of Saskatchewan Certificate in Museum Studies Program.

This role is responsible for working directly with MAS members to help them understand the objects in their collections and guide them in initiating repatriation processes and stewardship agreements through meaningful relationships with Indigenous Peoples.
