DESCRIPTION:Location: Room 113\, College West Building\, University of Regina\, Regina\, SK\nThis course will increase your understanding of museums and museum operations by examining their historical development\, governance models\, and core managerial concepts. It will also introduce you to aspects of daily operations and how they are impacted by such concepts as ethics\, public trust\, and standards as detailed within the MAS guidebook Standards for Saskatchewan Museums. \nThis course is being offered as a pilot project with the Department of History at the University of Regina to provide students with the opportunity to obtain training in the field of museum studies as part of their early career education.
