Summer Food Services Assistant – WDM North Battleford

Reporting to the Commercial Services Coordinator, the Summer Food Services Assistant’s main responsibility will be to support the food service activities in the Museum. Summer Food Services Assistant will ensure that the services are supplies in an efficient and profitable manner. They will also assist with the set-up of special events and functions. Weekend work is required.

Tea Room Concession
- Prepare light snacks and lunches for purchase by the general public
- Clean food service area.
- Purchase supplies as needed.
- Collect revenue from visitors for service provided. Reconcile cash.
Volunteer services
- Prepare, serve and clean up volunteer coffee area
- Ensure water is available for volunteers all day
Special Events
- Prepare light lunches and snacks for volunteers and public for special events.
- Provide coffee and dainties for rentals when required.
- Clean food service areas as required.
Special Events and Programming
- Assist with the set-up and dismantling of special events and programs held in the Museum
- Assist with artifact and exhibit security

$13.50 an hour

Term: 12 weeks from May 24 - August 27, 2022
Hours: 36 hours per week, will include weekends
