Bengough & District Museum
"Putting a Face to our Past"
Our museum’s displays represent the diverse history of Bengough and area. Items depict former school districts, agriculture, local businesses, and pioneer life as well as a new collection of Hudson Bay Company and First Nations artifacts. Visit the local “Farmer Coal Mining 1910-1950” park located adjacent to Hwy. #34. The coal mining display on site includes photos, information and a replica of a “slope mine”. Detailed maps of 52 coal mines of the surrounding area are on display in the museum.
