Call for Presenters: MAS Community Chat

Posted by Em Ironstar on March 17th, 2021

MAS is currently seeking proposals for our 2021-22 Community Chat Webinar Series. Community Chats are short, informal learning opportunities where peers have the chance to share and connect with the Saskatchewan museum community. Community Chats are held on a bi-weekly basis and are generally around 45 minutes, with about 15 minutes at the end reserved for questions, although this can be flexible. If your proposed session is longer, it could be held over several sessions or be longer; we can discuss and modify it to suit your specific needs.

Suggested areas of focus include (but are not limited to):

You can view a YouTube playlist of our previously recorded Community Chats online, and you can also find more information on our website.

Honorariums of $150 are allocated for presenters. Please indicate any other fees or costs in your proposal.

MAS is committed to fostering an equitable, diverse, and inclusive environment for our learning programs. We actively encourage proposals from underrepresented groups, including but not limited to Indigenous peoples, members of visible minority groups, persons with disabilities, and persons of any sexual orientation or gender identity and expression.

MAS also strives to develop programs representing the organizational size and geographic location of our members and involving emerging professionals to ensure perspectives from all stages of career development are reflected.
