Renewed Lottery Agreement

On January 13th, Parks, Culture and Sport Minister Kevin Doherty announced a renewed lottery agreement, (of 3.75%) which guarantees that sport, culture and recreation organizations will continue to receive and benefit from Saskatchewan Lotteries proceeds over the next five years.

"We are very pleased with the announcement made by Parks,Culture and Sports Minister Kevin Doherty on Jan.13th, in regards to the lottery agreement for the next five years." MAS President of the Board, Crystal Craig said.  "On behalf of the M.A.S. Board of Directors and our members, I would like to thank the Government of Sask. for their continued support . This enables all of us to go forward with our goals and high standards of excellence within the heritage sector and will enhance the communities that we live in throughout this province. I would also like to thank Sask. Culture for their role in advocating on our behalf during the negotiations, it is very much appreciated."
