Programming Assistant (summer student) – WDM North Battleford

The WDM North Battleford is seeking a Programming Assistant (summer student) responsible for planning and implementing interpretative public programming. The Programming Assistant will assist in the planning & implementation of education programs and with the creation and implementation of History in Motion.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Opening/closing procedures in the office and gift shop. • Visitor orientation to the Museum Galleries. • Gift shop sales and reporting. • Process admissions & memberships. • Provide visitor service information requests (by phone or in person). • Maintenance of reception area, gift shop, staff area, including cleaning and other light housekeeping duties. • The Customer Service Assistant will work varying hours to cover events and activities. • General office duties as assigned.

Only students continuing full-time post-secondary studies in the fall semester will be considered. This position is approximately 16 weeks full-time term position from May 6 – August 23, 2024. Shifts include weekday, weekend, and occasional evening work.
