Wanuskewin Heritage Park

Saskatoon, SK

For over 6,000 years, people have gathered at the site now known as Wanuskewin Heritage Park. Nomadic tribes who roamed the plains came to the site to hunt bison, gather food, and find shelter. Some of the sites uncovered in the area date back thousands of years. The park is also home to a medicine wheel, fewer than 100 of which remain on the northern plains.
