The Regional Interpretive Centre invites you to experience life from days gone by – from the every day struggles of the Pioneers, to the devastating impact that the near extinction of the buffalo had on the First Nations, and to the harsh aftermath of the North West Resistance for the Metis.

Exhibits in the centre include the North-West Uprising in 1885, with many artifacts from the uprising including Gabriel Dumont’s watch, and a boardwalk featuring early 1900s storefronts.

The large museum building also features a 24-metre tower with artwork and artifacts featuring the people of the area. Climb to the top of the tower to experience sweeping views of the countryside.
