Featuring two locations in the Central and Sherwood Libraries in Regina, the Dunlop Art Gallery has been a feature of the Regina Public Libaray since the 1960’s, when a multi-purpose gallery space was built at the Central Library Branch. Featuring a large permanent collection, the gallery is dedicated to “engaging, researching and presenting a diverse range of visual artwork” with a main focus on contemporary culture.
The Dunlop Art Gallery is more than just exhibitions. The gallery also offers educational and recreational opportunities from workshops and socials to exhibition tours. The gallery also features an Art Rental Collection, allowing Regina Public Library clients the opportunity to rent original Canadian works of art for a small monthly fee.
