The Lloydminster Museum + Archives is committed to engaging the diverse community of Lloydminster and area, by providing interpretive educational programs and exhibits pertaining to our local history and unique culture of our region. Explore our permanent Heritage Gallery to learn about the Barr Colonists, the settlement of Lloydminster, the effects of colonialism on indigenous peoples in the region, and the City of Lloydminster’s bi-provincial status.

Located in the heart of Treaty 6, Lloydminster is the traditional homeland of the Plains Cree, Wood Cree, Dene, Saulteaux and Homeland of the Metis.
