The Lumsden Historical Museum is located in a scenic hollow beside the railway track on Qu’appelle Drive West in the beautiful town of Lumsden. The museum is made up of five pioneer buildings, a modern machine shed, a livery stable and blacksmith shop.
The five pioneer buildings – house, school, community hall, church and log house – contain artifacts and displays that depict the early history of Lumsden and its surrounding area.
Two items of special interest are Arnie Robinson’s John Deere tractor collection (circa 1920) and the newly opened log house.
