In this course, you will learn about the museum’s role in caring for collections and how to write a collections policy. You will also learn about factors that cause objects to deteriorate, and how to respond with appropriate measures. You will learn how to handle, store, and exhibit objects safely, as well as the role of museums and their professional responsibility involving the ethical care of these collections.
