Access to the lending library – Browse our unique, up-to-date library collection, which contains material on a full range of museum-related topics valuable to all types and sizes of museums. There are over 1,200 titles available for loan!

Oral & Video History Kits – MAS offers various audio and video recording equipment for members to borrow. You can view a complete list of available equipment here and request equipment online (online equipment request form coming soon).

Environmental Monitoring Equipment Loan Program - MAS has two Elsec 765C and two HOBO UX100-23A external sensor monitors. The Elsec monitors and records the relative humidity, temperature, UV and visible light. The HOBO will monitor and record relative humidity and temperature.

Request Advisory Services – The Museums Advisor offers on-site, telephone, Zoom and email consultations to help with any questions or concerns relating to your museum.

Eligibility to join SaskCollections - a cloud-based collections database specifically designed for small and medium-sized museums in Saskatchewan.

Membership Eligibility
Museums, individuals, and organizations are eligible for membership in MAS. Membership Categories are:

Institutional voting members meet MAS' bylaw definition of a museum and are located in Saskatchewan.

Institutional non-voting members are working toward but ineligible for institutional voting membership and are located in Saskatchewan.

Individual voting members are residents of Saskatchewan who support MAS goals and objectives.

Individual non-voting members, including non-residents of Saskatchewan, have access to some member benefits.

Students attending an accredited program full-time and are eligible to vote if 18 years of age and older.

*Associates are any organization/business ineligible for institutional membership.

*Corporate memberships individuals or businesses who earn income through contracts or service provision or other commercial activities for museums, galleries, heritage organizations or related institutions. The benefits of corporate memberships include:
