The Clayton McLain Memorial Museum showcases local settlement history including the events of the 1885 Northwest Resistance. Located in beautiful Tomahawk Park, 12 authentic heritage buildings house the museum’s collections of First Nations and Settler artifacts, and tell the stories of Cut Knife and area. Outdoor agricultural and transportation displays are also located on the grounds.
An extensive collection of archival materials offer insights to those who wish to research about the area and its residents. Archival access by appointment only or contact to request a distance search.
