The Gordon Snelgrove Gallery is a teaching gallery, research space, laboratory and public point of connection hosted by the School For The Arts at the University of Saskatchewan. It is one of four in the University Art Galleries and Collection constellation and provides a publication space for the university’s creative academic development and production. It offers a venue for new work by artists, curators, and researchers within the University and operates as a site of direct exchange with the local arts ecology.
Additionally, the gallery curates the Department of Art and Art History Collection, which consists of select works from faculty and graduate students. Art from the collection is displayed physically throughout the Murray Building, the university library, and across campus. The entire collection is accessible digitally at the Sask Collections research access site of the Museums Association of Saskatchewan.
