The Rotary Museum of Police and Corrections is one of the four museums operated in the City of Prince Albert by the Prince Albert Historical Society. The building is an original guardhouse for the F Division of the North West Mounted Police, built in 1888. The museum opened in 1985.
This museum features history and artefacts from the NWMP/RNWMP/RCMP, Saskatchewan Penitentiary, Prince Albert Police Service, Saskatchewan Provincial Police and Provincial Corrections.
The museum’s winter hours (September to May) by appointment only. Please call the Historical Museum if you wish to visit the house. The summer hours after the May Long weekend to August are 9am to 5pm daily.
