Our collection consists of a wide variety of classic computing and communication devices, ranging from Teletype Assistive devices, to Classic Calculators, to a Variety of Storage Mediums, to All Manner of Classic Computers. We are currently hard at work cataloguing the ever growing collection. Here’s a small sampling of what we’ve got:

An Altair 8800 – The first mass market personal computer ever c.1975. View the Altair’s wikipedia entry.
A DEC (Digital Equipment Corporation) paper tape reader and writer.
An Apple Lisa, Apple’s early attempt at a personal computer for business
Two servers which ran the university’s first telelphone-assisted registration system called U-Star in the early 1990s.
A DEC (Digital Equipment Corporation) PDP-8 minicomputer, used in our Physics Dept in the late 1960’s early 70’s. We also acquired a PDP-8L and PDP-11 in 2011 from an off-campus donor.
