This course guides you through the exhibit design process. Through lectures, group work, and group discussions, you will share your experiences and develop the skills to offer exhibits that engage your community, tell your stories, and appeal to all ages. This course will also require students complete a take-home assignment to receive course credit. After completion, students will be able to conceptualize, design, plan, and construct interpretive exhibits, panels and texts within a museum or gallery environment. This course is one of the ten required classes needed for the completion of the Museums Association of Saskatchewan Certificate in Museum Studies Program.
Lunch is available on both days, courtesy of the Biggar Museum and Gallery. Cost is by cash donation.
